If I’ve said this once, I’ve said it a million times. Women are amazing beings created by God to do things beyond our wildest dreams. We are Girl Boss Ninjas! But even though we prove this day in and day out with raising families, taking care of our homes, having a job outside the home (or even working from home), so many women still do not think that success is within their reach! Well, I’ve had about enough of that line of thinking!! Ladies – listen up!! YOU ARE ALREADY DOING IT!! You just need to step outside of traditional definitions of success and find what you are good and turn that passion into your own definition of success!
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Tips for Achieving Success
The first step towards achieving success is to understand and accepts that ultimately YOU HAVE THE POWER in determining your success or failure. That power comes from God and no one else! It doesn’t come from the approval of friends or family. Believe in yourself and that if God put it in your heart, he also put in you the ability to achieve it. Don’t get distracted by the negative or unsupportive comments from family and friends. The truth is that most people who try to knock down your ideas are simply miserable in their own lives and misery loves company. You have the power to rise above the negative talk and go after what you want in life.

You also have the power to CHOOSE what you feed your mind on a daily basis. CHOOSE to be happy! If your current company (circle of friends or family) isn’t feeding your positive and encouraging vibes, then you must find a new circle that will provide that to you. And you shouldn’t feel bad or guilty for doing so! Where you end up in life is all about the choices you make for yourself. CHOOSE SUCCESS and success you shall have! God put the ability in each of us to achieve greatness but if you don’t believe that or don’t take the steps necessary for making it happen – then it won’t.
Loving yourself is an important step towards achieving success in life. If you don’t love yourself, you won’t truly believe in yourself and that will cause doubt. When you have doubt, you begin to make poor decisions and/or not take the risks or chances that are a necessary part of getting ahead in life. If you don’t feel worthy of success, you almost undoubtedly talk yourself out of every opportunity that comes before you. You will also have difficulty in building relationships, relationships that are necessary to grow. No one ever became a success all by themselves! Every successful person out there surrounded themselves with other empowering and successful people. When you don’t love yourself or think yourself worthy of success, IT SHOWS! When you truly love and care for yourself and KNOW that you are worthy (because God said so!), it exudes from everything you say and do! Successful people and others wanting the same thing as you will flock to you because you reflect what they are seeking!

You must also be capable of loving others. Do you always feel the need to point out flaws in others? That is NOT loving them. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen or heard other women just tearing down another woman (in person or more often – behind their backs). That really saddens me for both of them! I’m sad for the one doing the tearing down because it tells me no one ever gave them the love and encouragement they needed. And obviously sad for the one getting torn down because she sees another woman as her enemy! The quickest way to succeed in life is to help another succeed first.
Self-discipline is not easy! But when you want to achieve success as much as you want to breathe – it doesn’t seem like such a difficult task after all! When it comes to achieving success, self-discipline means doing what needs to be done. It also means not giving up when things don’t work out. It means giving up sleep time to work on your dream. It means asking yourself “is this going to help me achieve my dream” and if the answer is “no” then not committing your precious time to it!

The bottom line is that anything worth having is going to take work and effort. Make a plan for achieving your goals. Make changes to your daily routine (or actually create a routine) that enables you to work towards achieving it. Don’t just sit around waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself. You have to go out and MAKE that opportunity for yourself!
Is Success Really That Easy to Achieve?
Yes and No. Yes, the formula is easy. But carrying out the formula will take effort. But that effort isn’t so difficult when you look to God for direction and advice. I speak from experience on this! If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know my story. I had my priorities all wrong before and placed blame everywhere but where it needed to be – with myself. My worth is decided by Jesus and He literally thinks I’m to die for (true story!). Everything after just came naturally. I began using the internet (productively) to educate myself on ways to use my knowledge and profit at the same time. In less than a year, I have launched two very successful (and profitable) blogs, am earning income with Pinterest affiliate marketing, AND launched my own teaching platform to help other women find their passion and turn it into profit! And did I mention that I didn’t go to college for this stuff?
So what’s it going to be? Are you going to just sit by and watch others achieve their dreams or are you going to join them? God did not create you to be mediocre my dear! I totally understand how overwhelming the internet and technology and all that can be and also how scary it can be to take risks. That’s why I create a private community (just for women) called Girl Bosses Rock – Women Entrepreneurs to come and learn and connect with other like-minded women – most of whom share in past struggles. We are all in this together ladies! But together, we are unstoppable Girl Boss Ninjas!
